Skiing Japan for first time "Help"

Each season I usually ski in North America but have heard exciting things about Japan, so this year it's my first trip to Japan.
I will be skiing Hakuba, Nozawa Onsen and Niseko. I would love to hear about other skiers favorite Ski runs, pubs, shops, in fact anything at all as I will be on a big learning curve.
