News from this area..... the small Koide ski hill in... Koide, Uonuma city, Niigata.... will not be opening this season.
This comes on the heels of nearby 'famous' Urasa closing last season.
And a few years back the skijo between the two also closed, so gradually they are getting wiped from Uonuma.
Koide first opened in 1953 and was popular with locals and school trips.
